Have you ever noticed that eggs, milk, and bread are located DEEP in the grocery store? That’s definitely not done on accident.
Retailers of all kinds spend a ton of time thinking about how they should display products in their store. They’re not doing it because it’s fun, or looks cute, or any other reason besides the fact that it makes a big difference in sales numbers.
At the same time, I hardly ever hear people in Ecommerce talk about merchandising
